Measure of Academic Progress (MAP)
Students, grade K 鈥� 10, are assessed twice a year in the fall and spring to measure growth during an academic year. Student reports are shared with parents at the end of the first and fourth quarter of the academic calendar. MAP tests are based solely on the skills inherent to the American content standards that are the foundation of the 91精品视频 curriculum. Teachers utilize class reports to identify specific needs of the individual students and develop differentiated learning plans to address these skills.
World-Class Instructional
Design & Assessment (WIDA)
Every potential 91精品视频 student is given a WIDA test to assess their level of English language development. If accepted for enrollment a student鈥檚 proficiency level is determined by the EAL staff and they are placed in IEAL, mainstream classes with EAL support, or mainstream courses without support. Students in the EAL support program are tested at the beginning and end of each school year as one of the criteria for exiting the program.
Pre-Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT)
Students in grade 10 are given the opportunity to experience a college-level exam in preparation for the college application process.聽 In addition, students receive a personalized report outlining their strengths and weaknesses that can be addressed prior to the SAT exam required by most colleges and universities.
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
Twice during the school year 91精品视频 serves as city-wide SAT testing center. Grade 11 and 12 students from Ho Chi Minh City and the surrounding areas have the opportunity to take the exam as a means for college acceptance.
